Note:  The VTXS event schedule includes our own events as well as non VTXS events that we regularly attend.  

 

January 3 NYDX New Years Day Expedition: Annual winter run to start off the new year with a challenge.



February 12-15 Winter Romp (non VTXS event) www.winterromp.org



April 17-18 VRCX Rausch Creek Expedition: Leave for Rausch Creek off-road park on Friday afternoon, camp at the park Friday night, wheel all day on Saturday, camp again, wheel again Sun morning, then visit the Yuengling brewery on Sunday for a tour and to stock up on the way home on Sunday.



May 1-3 CDMX Cinco de Mayo Expedition: Virginia trip led by two VTXS members who relocated south. We'll pass through the Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park.



May 14-17 (Victoria Day Weekend) NSEX (Nova Scotia Expedition) We'll head up to VTXS Member, J.P. Ware's land in Lower Whitehead and explore for a couple of days, camping oceanside and then we'll attend the annual Moose Trophy event held on John Cranfield's farm Maritime Rovers



June 12-13 SVTX Southern VT Expedition: VTXS Member, Richard Reavey, shows us his neck of the woods near his family’s ancestral home in Halifax, VT. Camping and BBQ at Richard’s on Saturday night.



July 17-18  VTEX (VT Endurance Expedition) Incredibly long and scenic run through central Vermont. We didn't even finish the trip last year, but we will this year no matter what. We'll meet at Camp VTXS on Friday night and leave Saturday morning to cover an incredibly long network of trails. We'll camp in situ Saturday night wherever we end up. Truck camping only as we'll merely be parking for the night.



August 14-15 SBTX Sethburger Trophy: Our own Seth Warren takes us on an epic journey into the wilds of NH. Difficult trails, but a great way to end the season.


September 10-12 WEMA Western MA Weekend: This year, we're foregoing the usual rockfest to go expedition-style with a long, camp as we go journey traveling the most scenic trails Western MA has to offer.



October 1-4 MAR (non VTXS Event) Annual Mid Atlantic Rally hosted by the Rover Owners Association of Virginia. www.roav.org  



November 4-7 TVTX Trans Vermont Expedition: Annual camp as you go expedition from Canada to Massachusetts through the state of Vermont traveling as many class IV roads as possible.
